Wrapping up on a romantic note, we take a look at a cute pair preparing for marriage. Two pandas that arrived from the mainland in Taiwan nearly a year ago are getting ready to tie the knot.

The five-year-old pandas - named Tuantuan and Yuanyuan - will marry in February.

Staff at Taipei Zoo are also conditioning Tuantuan and his bride-to-be Yuanyuan for mating with a special feeding routine.

This includes hanging apples from ropes and placing biscuits in tunnels to build the pandas' leg power.

Both pandas are fed six times everyday, with each meal involving more than 20 minutes of exercise.

Zoo staff say Tuantuan is trying hard to increase his weight ahead of the couple's special day.
