Jackie Chan and Olympic gold medalist Liu Xiang have attended a charity party in Shanghai to raise money for the orphans with AIDS.
Jackie Chan and Liu Xiang sang the song "True Hero." It was the first time they had sung together in public, so the Olympic track star rehearsed many times beforehand. The pair then auctioned off their jointly recorded DVD, and left their handprints on a presentation edition of the disc. A sequined glove from Michael Jackson and a Beatles' album were also auctioned.
The money collected at the charity party will be donated to the Chinese Foundation for the Prevention of STDs and AIDS and will be used to help orphans infected with HIV in Yunnan, Hubei, Anhui, and Xinjiang. Famous stars including Angela Chang and Will Pan also took part in the event.
