Horse racing is a popular sport around much of the world, but on Indonesia's Madura Island, people are more interested in racing their bulls. Located off East Java, Madura Island draws visitors and enthusiasts from all over Indonesia, and around the world.
The racing begins with owners parading their bulls around the arena, accompanied by a group of men playing traditional instruments. The owners spend a lot of money, rearing strong and fast bulls for the competition. They say the bulls need 41 eggs a day to achieve maximum speed.
