All injured miners from the Xinxing coal mine accident are receiving medical treatment at two major hospitals. The Hegang Mining Bureau Hospital and Xingshan People's Hospital are working around the clock to save the injured miners.

Medical experts in cerebral surgery and doctors specializing in severe burns, have been brought in from other hospitals in Heilongjiang province, to direct and inspect treatment. Doctors have held group consultations with each patient, making sure their vital signs are stable. So far, 108 working units have been dispatched to comfort families of the victims.
