For many Chinese music fans, if Michael Jackson is the King of Pop, Reba Mcentire should be referred as the guru of American country music.

According to wikipedia.org, Born on March 28, 1955, Reba Nell McEntire is a Grammy award-winning American country music artist. She began her career in the music industry singing with her siblings on local radio shows and rodeos. As a solo act, she was invited to perform at a rodeo in Oklahoma City, which caught the attention of country artist Red Steagall. He brought her to Nashville, Tennessee, where she eventually signed a contract with Mercury Records in 1975. She released her first solo album in 1977 and released five additional studio albums under the label until 1983.

Signing with MCA Nashville Records, McEntire took creative control over her second MCA album, My Kind of Country (1984), which had a more traditional country sound and produced two number one singles: "How Blue" and "Somebody Should Leave". The album brought her breakthrough success, bringing her a series of successful albums and number one singles in the 1980s and 1990s. McEntire has since released 25 studio albums, acquired 24 times of the title of No.1 singles, and 28 albums have been certified Gold, Platinum or Multi-Platinum in sales by the Recording Industry Association of America.

In the early 1990s, McEntire branched into film starting with 1990's Tremors. She has since starred in the Broadway revival of Annie Get Your Gun and starred in her television sitcom, Reba (2001 - 2007) for which she was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series - Musical or Comedy.

Now, more than 35 years has passed. As "The Queen of Country", she has sold 41-million records in the U.S. and 50-million worldwide, according to gactv.com. She ranks as the seventh best-selling female artist in all genres and is the second best-selling female country artist of all time.

In the report: Reba McEntire's Duets Album Goes Platinum, she said: "I'm so excited over the wonderful acceptance of my CDs… I've always been a huge fan of all the artists so I'm not surprised to see how many people agree with me!"

Lyrics:

Verse 1: Every time i turn the conversation to something deeper than the weather i can feel you always shuttin' down. And when i need an explanation for the silence you just tell me you don't wanna talk about it now.

Bridge 1: What you're not saying is coming in loud and clear we're at a crossroads here...

Chorus: If i'm not the one thing you can't stand to lose If i'm not that arrow to the heart of you If you don't get drunk on my kiss If you think you can do better than this then i guess we're done Let's not drag this on Consider me gone

Verse 2: With you i've always been wide open like a window or an ocean. there is nothing i've ever tried to hide. So when you leave me not knowin' where you're goin' i start thinkin' that we're lookin' we're lookin' at goodbye.

Bridge 2: How about a strong shot of honesty don't you owe that to me...

Chorus: If i'm not the one thing you can't stand to lose If i'm not that arrow to the heart of you If you don't get drunk on my kiss If you think you can do better than this then i guess we're done Let's not drag this on Consider me gone.

Consider me a memory. Consider me the past. Consider me a smile in an old photograph someone who used to make you laugh.

If i'm not the one thing you can't stand to lose If i'm not that arrow to the heart of you Then i guess we're done let's not drag this on. Consider me gone. Consider me gone. Consider me gone. Just consider me gone.
