The Little Tiger Group, consisting of three handsome Taiwan boys, generated quite a stir in China's music industry when it first met the public some twenty years ago.

The trio swept into the Chinese mainland with their innocent voices and clean-cut style, and are treasured by many of those born in the 1970's in China. Thanks to the 2010 CCTV Spring Festival Gala, the three reunited again, belting out their golden hits of yesterday.

Little Tiger Trio swept into the mainland and Taiwan in the late 1980s and early 90s in China. Although they disbanded nearly two decades ago, the trio is still remembered as one the most dynamic pop groups in China. Little Tiger Trio is closely associated with sweet childhood memories of the post 70's generation in China, many of them once going crazy for their music.

Three members of the group went on to pursue solo careers after they disbanded in the 1990s. They are now artists with different labels, and all have achieved remarkable success on screen, both big and small.

After rounds of invitations by the production team of the CCTV Spring Festival Gala the three finally agreed to perform a piece on the gala stage as a team.

Nicholas Nicky Wu said, "The CCTV Spring Festival Gala is an arena for all the Chinese to have fun. All the Chinese both at home and abroad are watching. I think it's one of the most important occasions for reunions. And of course our program surely gained a lot of attention on such a big night."

After nearly two weeks of practice and rehearsals, the trio finally appeared on CCTV studio stage, performing in front of millions around the world.

Although the three sang and danced vigorously they are no longer that young. However, their loyal fans will always remember them as the tigers of their youth.
