Always known by her nickname "Lili", Alizée Jacotey is a young French popular singer and was born on 21st August, 1984. She entered the music business in 2000. In fact, she was discovered by the Canadian-born French singer and songwriter Mylène Farmer, following her winning performance in the talent show, Graines de Star. It was the turning-point in her budding career.

After this appearance, the phone in the Jocotey household rang non-stop with invitations to castings and offers to manage her career. Her first album was Gourmandises, which received Platinum certification within three months of release. Gourmandises was a success both in France and abroad—after it had its international launch in 2001—earning Alizée the distinction of being the highest selling female French singer in 2001.

According to rfimusique.com, Alizée went on to release her debut single, Moi, Lolita in June 2000 and, after just two outings on French TV, the song went rocketing up the French Top 50.

Alizée married fellow French singer Jérémy Chatelain in late 2003. Following her marriage, she took a hiatus from singing before returning with a new album, titled Psychédélices on December 3, 2007.

Lyrics of "Les Collines" or "Never Leave You"

[Alizée Jacotey - Verse One]
Poursuivie
J’ai gagné les collines
J’ai pris le maquis
Semé les chiens de chasse
Effacé mes traces
Maquillé ma fuite
Mes valises sont vides
Mon cœur léger
Léger…

[Alizée Jacotey Refrain]
Never wanna leave you (oh)
Never wanna leave you (uuh)
Never wanna leave you (oh)
Never wanna leave you (uuh)
Never ever wanna I leave you
Never ever wanna I leave you
Never wanna leave you (oh)
Never wanna leave you (uuh)

[Alizée Jacotey - Verse Two]
New York
I’m sorry
I loved you so…
But I have to go
Des vitrines infinies
Des horizons dorés
Je veux m’en passer
Auprès des Hespérides
J’irai penser
De grands félins timides
Paisibles, plaisirs, blessés blessés

[Alizée Jacotey Refrain]
Never wanna leave you (oh)
Never wanna leave you (uuh)
Never wanna leave you (oh)
Never wanna leave you (uuh)
Never ever wanna I leave you
Never ever wanna I leave you
Never wanna leave you (oh)
Never wanna leave you (uuh)

[Break]
Mes valises sont vides
Mon coeur léger
Léger….
