The world's number one golfer, Tiger Woods, and his Swedish wife, Elin Nordegren, have divorced, eight months after Woods' sex scandal.

The pair were present at the Bay County Circuit Court in Florida as their marriage was dissolved. They issued a statement that did not mention any monetary settlement, and their lawyers declined to comment on the subject.

The terms of the divorce were not disclosed, except that they'll share the parenting of their two children.

Woods' cheating on his wife, led to him losing millions of dollars in endorsements and an absence of five months from the game. He's since struggled to regain his form.
