Yichun city's, medical department, launched an emergency response immediately after the plane crashed on Tuesday evening. All medical staff are taking part in the rescue effort.

Most victims, from the accident are receiving treatment at the city's Number One Hospital. By one-forty-five in the morning, 53 of the 96 people on board had been hospitalized. Three are seriously injured. Four other major hospitals in the city, are also being utilized. The city mobilized all of its ambulances for the rescue effort. Medical groups from nearby cities such as Jia-musi and Hegang have also arrived in Yichun. Other medical experts from Heilongjiang Province are on their way too.
