For you fashionistas out there, here's another update from New York Fashion Week.
Today we will take a look at the catwalk shows of a few of the big-name fashion designers, starting off with "Le Tour de Betsey" that got its wheels spinning on Monday.
Betsey Johnson dressed her wicked bike tour of New York City in spray-can neon ruffles, sailor suits and flower bloomers before taking her two wheels for a spin down the runway and flopping to the ground in a "Ride Me" jacket. There was one biker babe in tiny blue bottoms and another in green-striped leggings.
Then Johnson moved to a metal-sequin gold vest over black, and models with bike chains wrapped around their bodies, eyes done in parrot green and many in rhinestone chokers.
One model took a slight tumble on the catwalk after attempting a skateboard ride in platform heals, and another wore American-flag stiletto booties.
The finale was a parade of race-ready lemon tank dresses on models waving black checkered finish line flags just after adorable home movies of real-life little Betsey and her family filled a huge video screen on one end of the Lincoln Center runway.
A lot of designers at New York Fashion Week must have been influenced by a disco-dancing 1970s muse to produce these billowy shapes, scarf-tied tops, gold lame and long, flared trousers, but Marc Jacobs is the only one who was fully obsessed with her.
