With only hours to go before the presidential elections in Brazil, candidates were out campaigning throughout the country on Saturday.

Recent polls show ruling party candidate Dilma Rousseff is expected to win in the first round vote with an absolute majority against her main rival Jose Serra.

But Green Party candidate Marina Silva has risen in the latest surveys and may help Serra make it to a runoff.

Rousseff acknowledged the possibility that she would have to go to a run off election if she does not win a majority of the votes.
