The death toll from Haiti's cholera epidemic is approaching 300, as health experts say the illness would "settle" in, joining other endemic diseases like malaria and tuberculosis.

The week-old epidemic of the deadly diarrheal disease, has so far mostly affected, the central Arti-bonite and Central

Plateau regions. They've accounting for 295 deaths,... and over than 36 hundred registered cases...This, is according to Haitian health authorities.

Although the number of new deaths and cases, has slightly slowed down, from earlier days, a UN-led international medical response, is fighting to prevent the outbreak, from penetrating Haiti's capital, Port-au-Prince,... which is CROWDED with 1.3 million, homeless survivors... from January's earthquake.
