Nissan will recall more than 2 million cars in its third-biggest recall ever. The models affected include the March and the Cube, among others. Problems in the ignition relay could cause the engine to stall or fail to restart. But Nissan says no accidents have been caused by the default so far.
Around 194,000 cars will be recalled in China, 835,000 in Japan, and 762,000 in North America. Nissan hasn't disclosed the cost estimate to fix the cars, but says it could be quite cheap. It estimates repairs will take less than 25 minutes per car.
