Chen Danqing, Artist, said, "A country blossoming with the so-called "small-colony" art and culture is sure to have a strong popular culture. When we see small audience numbers for opera and chamber music, this means that our pop culture is weak."

"Turandot" was left unfinished in the second scene of the third act when Puccini died in 1924.

Over the past eighty years, completing "Turandot" has been a focus of many artists the world over.

This time, Hao Weiya, the young Chinese composer, became the third composer in the world and also the first Chinese artist to complete Puccini's "Turandot."
