We return with action from the association, and the Washington Wizards, looking to snap a dubious streak. The Wiz headed into play on Saturday against the Charlotte Bobcats...winless on the road, trying to avoid an 18th straight loss away from the US capital.
Mid in the first at 10 a piece, Nick Young cut inside for a lay-up, but Gerald Henderson followed with a huge block. Henderson, got it done on both ends posted a career high 19 points for the Bobcats.
Into the 2nd quarter, John Wall dished to the air and JaVale McGee connected for an alley-oop. Washington were still down by 7. 22-29.
Mid in the third, Wall with the steal and the drive for the nasty two hander. The No.1 pick took 16 points and 11 assists in his first game in home state.
Late in the quarter, Kirk Hinrich nailed a three for a Washington comeback, 69-68. He scored 18 on the night.
Into the final quarter, Shaun Livington fed Tyrus Thomas in the air for a nice dunk. 79-71, Charlotte.
Livington then would keep off the fast break, the nice spin and lay-up, stretching the Charlotte lead to 13.
Stephen Jackson scored 21 points for the Bobcats and added 10 rebounds. His layup here, putting the Bobcats up 90-77.
D.J. Augustin added 20 as Charlotte won it 104-89 to keep the Wizards the NBA's lone winless team on the road at 0-18.

Elsewhere, the Orlando Magic were looking to extend the NBA's longest active winning streak to nine games with a win over the injury-depleted Dallas who are still missing Dirk Nowitzki.
But Jason Terry's nice drive, would put the Mavs up 5 halfway through three.
Late in the quarter, the Magic within two. Dwight Howard finds Jason Richardson who knocks down the jumper. Richardson had 20 points on the night.
Gilbert Arenas then nailed a three as the Magic rallied from a 16-point first half deficit to take the lead 80-79.
Forward Hedo Turkoglu recorded 17 assists besides 13 points. Here he finds J.J.Redick who hits the three to put Orlando up by nine.
The next possession, Turkoglu showed no hesitation to grab the ball from a falling Terry and served to Arenas in the run for an easy basket, the Magic up by 11.
Dwight Howard would finish this one off in style, he had 23 points and 13 rebounds as Orlando wins it's ninth in a row, 117-107.
