The artwork, in the shape of a bowl, measures 88 centimeters in diameter and 31 centimeters in height. In spite of its large size, the bowl's surface is no more than 1.5 millimeters thick. Depicted all over its body, both inside and outside, are 19 dragons, the most auspicious patterns in China.
