In the face of law, everyone stands equal... Hours after Chen Jia's trial, a Chinese pop song writer Gao Xiaosong stood in front of the court. Gao is the first celebrity to be sentenced for his misbehavior.

The famous pop song writer comes to court.
With no fans or glory, but police and handcuffs.
Judge of People's Court of Dongcheng District, Beijing, said, "Gao Xiaosong is convicted of dangerous driving. Under the amended law, Gao is sentenced to six months in prison with a fine of 4,000 yuan."
Gao was driving away from a late-night dinner at a downtown Beijing hotel on May 9th, when his white Infiniti SUV hit a car stopped for a red light at an intersection of Dongzhimenwai Street.
The collision caused a pile-up involving two other cars, but no injuries were reported.
A subsequent blood test showed the Chinese composer had 243 milligrams of alcohol per 100 milliliters of blood, three times the legal limit.
Earlier this year, Gao took a high-profile role in public outrage against Yao Jiaxin, a music student who stabbed to death a young mother he hit in a car accident.
On his microblog, Gao asked: "Can a person who disregards human life love music?"
Now it's hard to tell whether the pop song writer is thinking over the same question.
He did though, write on a slip of paper, "Sorry, never drive when drunk."
