China, Namibia seek closer cooperation

Top Chinese legislator Wu Bangguo is in Namibia, where he's met President Hifikepunye Pohamba. Wu Bangguo extended President Hu Jintao's greetings to Pohamba and hailed the two countries' "all- weather" partnership.

He spoke of the cooperation in various fields in recent years, notably in trade and economy. Wu also highlighted the mutual understanding and support on issues of core interests.
