A total of 3 hundred mainland visitors from Beijing, Shanghai, and Xiamen are set to arrive in Taiwan on Tuesday. Travel agencies are well prepared for the occasion.

Xiao Hong, dept. manager of China Travel Service, said, "We are well positioned for everything. We have had a safety guidance meeting with our tourists for the trip."

Travel operators have launched more than 10 travel products, specially tailored for mainland individual visitors. The most popular destinations are Taipei and the Sun and Moon Lake.

Xiao said, "This is just the beginning. We are bullish over the prospects of individual tourism for mainland travelers. We will further classify products into culture-themed, fashion-themed, and leisure-themed ones. We will also develop railway travel routes and ecological travel routes. "

Travel agencies are planning to launch products featuring more destinations, with a variety of themes to attract more mainland visitors.
