Britain's Prince William and his wife Catherine were greeted by jubilant crowds on Canada's Prince Edward Island on Monday. The visit marks the third province of their Canadian tour.

After visiting Province House, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge rode on a landau carriage led by Canadian mounted police, known as mounties.
The royal couple then headed to Dalvay by-the-Sea, a scenic resort along the island's north shore.
At the resort, William piloted a Canadian military helicopter, landing it on the water for the first time as part of a military emergency training exercise.
Monday was the fifth day of the newlyweds' nine-day trip to Canada, part of their first official overseas trip since their April 29th wedding. They leave for a three-day trip to California on July 8th.
