Russian Emergency Minister, Sergei Shoigu, says there's almost no hope of finding anyone else alive after the sinking of a riverboat in the Volga river. Shoigu says the sunken vessel was overloaded with 208 people on board, 80 of whom were rescued.

Relatives of those missing gathered at Kazan river port on Monday where the Bulgaria ship was heading to and where survivors were taken. Russian rescuers have found more than a hundred bodies, including those of many children, inside the wreck of the sunken Russian cruise ship. The vessel went down at around 2pm Moscow time on Sunday. The cause of the disaster has not yet been determined.

And Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said on Monday the riverboat was in poor condition and there are an exorbitant number of rusting hulks sailing in the country's waters. He was speaking at a hastily convened meeting of senior ministers at his residence just outside Moscow.
