Thousands of people have gathered in central Oslo for a candlelit vigil for victims of Norway's bombing and shooting spree.
On Monday, at least 100,000 people attended an anti-violence rally. Many people carried white or red roses at the peaceful demonstration. Rallies were also being held in other cities around the nation.
On the same day, the UN General Assembly in New York observed a moment of silence for the victims of the attacks. UN Secretary-General, Ban Ki-moon, said he was "particularly saddened" that the perpetrator of the attacks "singled out young people keen to engage in the future of their country."
