Watching a butterfly float effortlessly in the air is a beautiful sight to behold. But unless you go to the butterfly valleys of Sanya or Yunnan, it's not easy to get up close and personal with these delicate winged creatures.

Until now, for the first time ever, a butterfly exhibit has been set up at Jingshan Park in downtown Beijing. City-folk and tourists have a chance to play and interact with more than 40 types of butterfly.

The exhibit will last until the end of August, so, if you're not content with cooling off in the comfort of your air-conditioned apartment this summer, Jingshan Park is a perfect place for you to go to instead.
