Authorities have decided that a chemical plant will be relocated after a dike near the plant was breached in a powerful tropical storm over the weekend.

Details of the relocation plan will be worked out after an assessment is completed. No timetable has been revealed yet. Local government have launched another investigation into how the breach happened in response to public concerns over the dike's construction quality.

The dike was breached by high waves Monday morning, threatening to damage the chemical tanks located just fifty meters away.
