Rare photos of Dr. Sun Yat-sen shown in Japan

This year is the 100th anniversary of China's 1911 Revolution, or the Xinhai Revolution. Many events cerebrating the anniversary are held all over the world.

This exhibit shows photos of his stay in Japan and his relationship with Japanese film producer and promoter, Shokichi Umeya, who supported Sun Yat-sen's revolutionary beliefs. 

In Japan, photos found of Dr. Sun Yat-sen are now being displayed at the Tokyo National Museum. Let's visit the museum now and take a look.

In celebration of 100th anniversary of the 1911, Xinhai Revolution, Tokyo National Museum kicked off an exhibit of rare photos and artifacts of Sun Yat-sen.

Sun Yat Sen, considered to be the father of modern China, said to have traveled to various parts of the world.

This exhibit shows photos of his stay in Japan and his relationship with Japanese film producer and promoter, Shokichi Umeya, who supported Sun Yat-sen's revolutionary beliefs.

Umeya is said to have told him: "You rise up in arms; I will support you financially."
