Shanghai World Chocolate Wonderland, a new chocolate-themed park, is scheduled to open in Shanghai on December 16th, 2011.

Visitors to the Chocolate Wonderland can browse the famous architectural complex in Pudong District and Puxi District following the Huangpu River which is made of chocolate. Moreover, many chocolate art works inspired by Old Shanghai in the early 20th century will be on show. Visitors can make their own chocolate souvenirs on a visit to the park.

This is the country’s second chocolate wonderland. Last year, the park was opened in Beijing, at a site next to the Bird’s Nest.
