US Secretary of State, Hilary Clinton has talked by phone with Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi about the DPRK's rocket launch and the Korean Peninsula situation.

Deputy Spokesperson for the Department of State, Mark Toner said the two sides discussed how to deal with the possible impact of the launch on the Peninsula's situation. 

Mark Toner, Deputy Spokesperson for the Department of State, said, "The secretary has just said she had a good opportunity to have a conversation with the Chinese Foreign Minister this morning, We are asking them to use their relationship with North Korea to convey our concern about the recent actions."
