Vice President Xi Jinping has met with visiting Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin. The vice president welcomes the visiting guest. He says the growth of China-Russia relations has important bearing on the prosperity of both countries and the security and stability of the region and world.

He notes the two sides should safeguard their common interests, as well as contribute to world peace, stability, development and prosperity. Rogozin says Russia regards China as a true friend and the most important strategic partner. He says Russia is ready to work with China to deepen political mutual trust, expand pragmatic cooperation and advance bilateral relations.
