A member of Iran's National Security and Foreign Policy Committee says the committee has drafted a bill to block the Strait of Hormuz for Gulf oil tankers shipping crude to countries that support sanctions against Iran.

He said the bill has been signed by 100 out of 290 members of the Iranian parliament, and it will be presented in an open parliament session.
