Bobbi Kristina Brown, the daughter of late singer Whitney Houston, put on a brave face Thursday, as she attended the premiere of the last film ever made by her mother, "Sparkle."
Houston plays a fallen former singing star who tries to warn her three daughters about the perils of show business and guide them to a life of religion. The film is a remake of the 1976 musical cult favorite "Sparkle," about the trials and tribulations of a Supremes-like Detroit girl group. Bobbi Kristina posed for photos with her adopted brother Nick Gordon but avoided speaking to the press.
"Sparkle" was a passion project for Houston, also an executive producer on the movie. Her death on the eve of the Grammys turned the film into a memorial of sorts. Jordin Sparks stars as Sparkle. The film also stars Cee-Lo Green, Derek Luke, Mike Epps and Terrence Jenkins.
