Typhoon Tembin has hit South Korea hard, killing two people. It happened as the country is cleaning up the mess that typhoon Bolaven left earlier in the week, killing 19.
The country's Meteorological Administration says Tembin is moving northeastward at a speed of 43 kilometers per hour across the southern region. It forecasts that the typhoon will arrive at the sea off the South Korea's east coast by tomorrow.
The typhoon cut power supplies to hundreds of thousands of households, and cancelled flights and ferry services in the country's southern region. It also forced over one hundred schools to close in the southern island of Jeju.
