The world's fastest man, Usain Bolt, is one of those rare champions that manage to combine ego, attitude and talent into a personality most people can't help but like. After a perfect Olympic Games in which he defended all three of his Olympic titles, he's taken some time to reflect on the year.
Usain Bolt, Olympic Gold Medalist, said, "For me this Olympics was very important. It was my dream to set myself apart from many other athletes. A lot of athletes have won titles once and for me this Olympics was very important so I went out there and I did my country, myself, my fans and everybody who was looking for me to do great things, proud."
Usain Bolt said, "I'm very happy with myself and I'm very pleased with my performance. I think I did pretty well. A lot of people are happy so I think I really do well. It was an extremely, I wouldn't say a bumpy ride but it wasn't a smooth season. But with God, for me I pushed through, I prayed a lot, I got a lot of prayers from all over the world. I got a lot of facebook people keep telling me I'm praying for you, keep focused, and keep working hard, and staying strong and all these things. So I got a lot of support from all over the world. "
Usain Bolt said, "I want to thank all of those people for their prayers because I'm sure it went a long way so thanks a lot also. Just all of the supporting and I have one thing to say. Never doubt a champion."
