If you are an admirer of Van Gogh, don't be alarmed to know that all the artist's masterpieces have been taken off the wall at the Netherlands' most visited museum. You will be able to see them at their new venue.

Curators remove Vincent van Gogh's famous "Sunflowers" painting from the wall of the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, Netherlands, Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012.

The Van Gogh museum closed on Sunday for renovations. Some of Vincent Van Gogh's most notable paintings - Sunflowers and The bedroom - were removed from the walls and packed into storage boxes to be delivered to their new home in the Dutch capital.

Axel Ruger, director of Van Gogh Museum, said, "We will be closing our building for the coming seven months. The removal has to do with renovation that we have to undergo and we are going to move the collection to another venue - The Hermitage here in Amsterdam - for that period."

The work is to upgrade the building's structure in line with national fire regulations. The collection of 75 paintings will be on display in The Hermitage until May 1, 2013, when the Van Gogh Museum will open its doors to visitors again.

The popular Museum receives 1.6 million visitors every year.
