After showing at the 17th annual Busan International Film Festival, Hong Kong cop thriller "Cold War" came home for its star studded premiere on Wednesday.

The film's cast, including Tony Ka Fei Leung, Aaron Kwok, Eddie Peng, Aarif Rahman and Charlie Yeung were all at the premiere.

"Cold War" follows the story of two rival factions within the Hong Kong police force as they track down the mole responsible for a series of security breaches.

After receiving positive reviews at Busan, the cast seemed confident about the film's opening in Asia.

Some critics have called "Cold War" one of the best cop thrillers of the decade from Hong Kong, and predict a box office hit to outdo 2002's massive hit film "Infernal Affairs."

Lead actor Tony Ka Fai Leung couldn't agree more.

Tony Ka Fai Leung, actor of Cold War, said,"The best part about doing this film was reading the script. I feel like Hong Kong films are making a comeback. The other thing is after shooting wrapped, I felt very relaxed, like we're finally done and everyone (cast and crew) did a good job."

Playing opposite Leung is Hong Kong singer/actor Aaron Kwok.

Kwok feels another reason to be excited about the film is because of its popularity in other Asian countries.

Aaron Kwok, actor of Cold War, said,"These two new directors took 5 years to write this script. They're able to tell their stories completely, and to have the the same version released in different places. I think that's a big encouragement for them."

"Cold War" unites three acting heavy weights, including Leung, Kwok, and Andy Lau.

For supporting actors Eddie Peng and Aarif Rahman, being on set put them through their paces every day.

Eddie Peng, actor of Cold War, said,"It's like extreme training. Every scene felt like an acting lesson. You have to be your best. When you're acting with Best Actor award winners, of course you're nervous and stressed. But we've become good friends, and it's all been worth it."

"Cold War" opens in Hong Kong, the mainland and Taiwan on November 8th.
