The late Michael Jackson was as well known for his style as he was for his music. From military outfits and regalia, to Jewel-encrusted gloves fedora hats and beaded jackets the self-styled King Of Pop had it all. Now in his new book, Michael Jackson's former costume designer shares the history of Jackson's style and their friendship.
Michael Bush designed and made Jackson's stage costumes for 25 years until the pop star's death in 2009. In his new book, "The King of Style: Dressing Michael Jackson", he shares the stories behind some of Jackson's most iconic looks, such as the red leather jacket that screamed "Beat It" and his bedazzled white socks.
Five items from the late singer were shown as part of a book signing hosted at the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square in New York. Jackson's staple pink shirt with "CTE" initials was also on display. "The King of Style" is currently available in the U.S. and will be sold worldwide soon.
