A small amount of snow has also fallen in central Inner Mongolia. In Baotou city, bus stations suspended services. The expressway connecting Baotou and Maoming city in South China’s Guangdong province was closed. The Inner Mongolia Meteorological center is forecasting snow, sleet and rain in other parts of the autonomous region in the coming days. After that, temperatures could drop by 10 to 15 degrees Celsius. Local authorities are making safety preparations.
