For those who aren't afraid of a little cold, and enjoy the breathtaking views of the changing season, we've defnietly got the perfect spots for you. Here are some places to go in China during the winter.

With bright red and shining golden leaves falling from trees and covering the ground, Fragrance Hill is a great place to enjoy Beijing's autumn charms.

The park is located in the western area of Haidian District, 25 kilometers from downtown. Huang Lu trees, with leaves as red as fire, light up the area. The best time to take in the sights is from mid-October to early November.

Tourist, said, "The air is fresh, and the view is excellent on top of the mountain."

From October to November, Fragrance Hill receives nearly 1.5 million visitors from both home and abroad.

While Beijingers enjoy the scenes of late autumn, people in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province are already surrounded by ice and snow. Throughout the northeast, the mountains and rivers are covered by white snow, the trees on the banks of the river are dressed by snow as white as silver, which is also known as the "Rime". The poetic landscape, generally called "ice spike", occurs every November. The ice flakes dancing in the air always attract a lot of tourists.

Zhalong Nature Reserve in Heilongjiang Province is a world of ice and snow during this period of year. But it's not the only breathtaking scene here. This marsh reserve serves as a stopover and nesting area for a large number of storks, swans, herons, grebes and the most precious red crowned cranes.

As an endangered species, there are only about 2,000 red crowned cranes left in the world and 1500 are living in Zhalong. Tourists often come here to have their photos taken with red crowned cranes, creating a joyful picture depicting the harmony between man and nature.
