Cold weather continues across China, bringing rain and snow, and disrupting traffic. Most parts of southern China have seen temperature drops of 4 to 10 degrees Celsius, while in some areas temperatures plunged by 21 degrees.

The National Meteorological Center says sleet and snow will continue to fall over southern parts of the country in the following three days. Authorities have prioritized clearing the ice on roads, to ensure drivers' safety.

In Laizhou Bay, off China's east coast, a cold snap has caused sea ice, leaving about 1,000 ships stranded.
