Talk show host, Oprah Winfrey, says that her interview with Tour de France cyclist, Lance Armstrong, is the biggest interview she's ever done. During the interview, Armstrong finally admitted to using performance enhancing drugs in competition. The interview will air in two parts over two nights. Oprah would not comment on whether Armstrong seemed contrite but said he seemed ready for the interview.

Oprah Winfrey, talk show host, said,"I would rather people make up their own mind about whether he was contrite or not. I thought he was thoughtful and serious. I felt he'd certainly prepared himself for this moment."

After years of denials, the cyclist confessed during a taped interview with Oprah at a hotel in Austin on Monday. The International Cycling Union issued a statement on Tuesday, saying it was aware of the reports that Armstrong had confessed. The governing body for the sport urged Armstrong to tell his story to an independent commission, set up to examine claims it covered up suspicious samples taken from the cyclist.
