The Democratic People's Republic of Korea top leader Kim Jong-un has said the the country will safe guard its sovereignty and national dignity by a powerful Physical response.

Kim made the pledge after hearing a report from the DPRK’s national security and foreign affairs departments on the current situation around the Korean Peninsula. It called the UN’s sanctions against the country for its launch of the Kuang Myong-song-3 satellite last December, an unprecedented provocation against its sovereign rights.

It added the DPRK can only defend its sovereignty by itself. The UN Security Council on Tuesday unanimously approved Resolution 2087, which requires the DPRK to comply with all relevant resolutions approved by the Security Council, and not to use the ballistic missile technology for any further launch. The UN also reiterated the call for a peaceful, diplomatic and political solution, and advocated renewing the six-party talks over the denuclearization issue on the Korean Peninsula.
