The National Folk Art Troupe of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea is currently touring across China. The troupe’s recent shows in South China’s Guangzhou have left many mesmerized.

Getting an up close look at DPRK folk art.

During the one and a half hour show, more than 60 artists performed some meticulously-choreographed numbers.

The National Folk Art Troupe of the DPRK was established in 1947, and has long been one of the country’s best art troupes.

The group has performed in more than 100 countries around the world.

Packed with graceful and skillful technique, the show left a big impression on many in the audience.

The artists also performed several Chinese folk songs. Their authentic renditions encapsulated the friendship between the two countries.

Art director of DPRK National Folk Art Troupe said, " Our country shares a long tradition of friendship with China. We’re honored to be here and hope our performance can strengthen the friendship. It’s great to see that the audience liked our renditions of Chinese folk songs. "

The DPRK’s National Folk Art Troupe kicked off its China tour earlier this month.

It’s already been to many cities including Beijing, Tianjin and Shenzhen. The troupe will be touring other major Chinese cities in the coming weeks.
