World number one, Serbia's Novak Djokovic, has won the Australian Open for the fourth time, after beating Britain’s Andy Murray in four sets.

Djokovic had to come from behind to win a hard fought final 6-7, 7-6, 6-3, 6-2. He has now won six major titles...four of them at Melbourne Park, where he is unbeaten in 21 matches. His win makes him the first man since Australian Roy Emerson in 1967 to have won three consecutive Australian championships and after the match he gave this reaction.

Novak Djokovic said, "Every tournament, especially the major tournaments, is very special. So every win, of course also adding to that the history part, you know, winning it three in a row, it's incredible. It's very thrilling. I'm full of joy right now. It's going to give me a lot of confidence for the rest of the season, that’s for sure."
