One film that might have its eye on next year's award season is the new Steve Jobs biopic starring Ashton Kutcher. It has been a hot topic since it began production. Now, it's become even hotter because of the questionable way it depicts the late tech-icon's early years in the field.
The film "Jobs" premiered last week at the Sundance Film Festival, and will be officially released in US on April 19th. But before its debut, Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak spoke out. After watching an online clip, Wozniak said the film's portrayal of Jobs's personality and their early vision for the company were both incorrect.
Even so, the co-founder thought the movie would be a hit, and said its characterization of his character was more accurate.
But the movie’s director Joshua Michael Stern said the film was meant to be entertaining, not a documentary.
