In England, the footballing world is preparing to say farewell to the greatest manager the Premiership has ever known. Sir Alex Ferguson, the man who has ruled the sidelines at Old Trafford for over a quarter-century, announced on Wednesday that the time has come for him to move on as coach of Manchester United.
