Sir Alex Ferguson has bid his final farewell as the manager of Manchester United, after his side drew 5-5 with West Bromwich Albion on Sunday. Sunday's game was the 71-year-old Scot's 1500th and his last in charge of the club, which was just crowned its 13th Premier League title last month.

At the end the game, Ferguson bowed in front of thousands of applauding fans, and bowed out of football for good. His official retirement party was held last week at Old Trafford in Manchester.

More than 75,000 fans saluted the legendary manager for delivering numerous trophies during his 26 years in charge of the club.
