President Xi Jinping will attend two days of meetings with US President Barack Obama in California, following his visit in Mexico. The two leaders are expected to discuss tough issues without the pageantry of a state visit.
The summit will be held at Sunnylands, the former Annenberg Estate, in Rancho Mirage, California. Sunnylands was declared a historic site by the city of Rancho Mirage in 1990.
It became a place for national and foreign dignitaries and diplomats to gather for summit meetings and retreats. Notable people who have visited the property include 7 US presidents and Queen Elizabeth the second.
