Some basketball insanity hit Taipei on Wednesday, as Jeremy Lin was back in his parents homeland, where Lin outlined his goals for the off-season to improve his three-point game, his defence, and to play better off his left hand.

Houston made the biggest splash of the NBA off-season with the signing of free agent centre Dwight Howard - who will join Lin and US Olympian James Harden. Lin will have a chance to hook up with Howard next week when the new Rockets centre makes his own visit to Chinese-Taipei.
When asked what lessons he had learnt from playing with NBA over the last few years, Lin admitted it has taken a while to get used to his instant superstar status.
Lin said, "Last year, I think because of the big impact from 'Linsanity', when I moved Houston, I felt that I had to do well. So, I put a lot of pressure on myself. I learn to play for God, and not for everyone else. When I played with the Knicks, I had the ball often. But with the Houston Rockets, we have James Harden, who is an all-star player and very good at pick-and-roll so I have to find my running position and space."
