A US military jury has convicted Fort Hood shooter Nidal Malik Hasan on all 13 charges of premeditated murder and all 32 charges of attempted premeditated murder after a shooting ramapage at the base.
The convictions mean Hasan could face the death penalty. The jury of 13 high-ranking military officers will begin deciding his sentence on Monday.
Hasan, 42, is am American-born Muslim. He said at an earlier hearing he took the action to protect Taliban fighters in Afghanistan. In court, Hasan acted as his own attorney and admitted to the 2009 rampage.
