In a State Council meeting on Wednesday, Premier Li asked government departments to complete reform tasks set out in March before the end of this year. These goals cover areas, such as reducing administrative red tape and pushing for financial and tax reforms.

Premier Li says the progress on these fronts will lay a foundation for further reforms next year, so it's crucial to hold government agencies accountable for what they have completed this year.
