The San Antonio Spurs went into Wednesday night’s game against the Oklahoma City Thunder riding an 11-game winning streak. These two teams have been the "Best In The West" for the past few seasons, so early bragging rights were on the line when the action tipped off in OKC.

Tony Parker finds Tim Duncan early in the first quarter, and the big man goes to the hole as the Spurs tie the score at eight-eight, but he would end up with just 11 points in this contest.

Kevin Durant later loses the ball as the clock ticks down in the half, and Parker goes the other way for an easy lay-up as San Antonio pushes the lead to five points, at 46-41 Serge Ibaka not happy.

But the Thunder grab the momentum in the third, and now it’s their turn to come away with a steal, Russell Westbrook feeding Durant down the court, and his emphatic dunk puts OKC ahead 59-52.

Durant then turns provider as he finds Jeremy Lamb spotting up on the outside, no doubt about that shot, as he drains three of his 12 points off the bench and the Thunder are rolling.

More from the OKC bench in the fourth, as Reggie Jackson drives in and scores on his way to a 23-point night.

The Spurs are still within striking range with just under seven minutes remaining, so Marco Belinelli finds Matt Bonner, who finds him right back, and that jumper cuts the deficit to three, at 79-76.

But Oklahoma City is just too strong down the stretch, Durant with a game-high 24 points, and the Thunder win 94-88.

And in Wednesday night’s other contests around the league, the teams which also won at home were the Rockets, Magic, Mavericks, Suns, and Clippers.

And franchises picking up victories on the road were the Heat, Pacers, Bulls, Lakers, Wizards in overtime, Grizzlies, and Nuggets.
